Home First Finance Company India (HFFCIL) filed its Q1 FY26 investor presentation with the exchanges. Assets Under Management grew 28.6% year-on-year and 6.0% quarter-on-quarter to ₹1,34,787 Mn (₹13,479 Cr), while disbursements stood at ₹1,243 Cr. Profit After Tax rose 35.5% YoY to ₹1,189 Mn. The company raised ₹1,250 Cr through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) during the quarter, which led to a credit rating upgrade to AA (Stable) by ICRA, India Ratings and CARE. Asset quality remained stable with Gross Stage 3 (GNPA) at 1.8% and credit cost at 40 bps, in line with the maintained guidance of 30-40 bps. The spread stood at 5.1%, slightly compressed year-on-year. The company added 3 new branches, taking the total to 158 across 13 states, and increased its employee base to 1,709.
Strong AUM and PAT growth along with the successful QIP and rating upgrade should be viewed positively by investors, signaling improved capital strength and growth capacity. However, the slight uptick in early delinquency metrics (30+ DPD up 50 bps QoQ) and stable spread warrant continued monitoring. Overall, the quarter reflects healthy business momentum supported by fresh capital.
