Home First Finance reported audited FY25 results with total income rising ~33% to Rs. 1,539.2 crore and profit after tax up ~25% to Rs. 382.1 crore (FY24: Rs. 305.7 crore). Loan book grew to Rs. 10,649 crore from Rs. 8,143 crore. The board recommended a dividend of Rs. 3.70 per share (185% of face value), up from Rs. 3.40 last year. Non-Executive Nominee Director Mr. Maninder Singh Juneja (True North nominee) resigned effective May 2, 2025, citing other priorities after 8 years on the board. A new secretarial auditor, M/s. Aashish K. Bhatt & Associates, was appointed for 5 years, replacing the previous LLP form. The board also approved raising up to Rs. 700 crore via private placement of NCDs. Separately, the company had already raised Rs. 1,250 crore via QIP on April 11, 2025 at Rs. 970 per share.
Strong FY25 performance with healthy ~25% PAT growth and a higher dividend should be positive for shareholders, though the QIP and proposed NCD raise signal continued focus on capital build-up to support loan book expansion. The exit of a long-serving True North nominee director is a routine investor-nominee change and not a governance concern.
