India Shelter Finance reported strong Q4FY26 results, crossing Rs. 11,044 crore AUM (29% YoY) and Rs. 10,000 crore annual disbursements for the first time. PAT grew 27% YoY to Rs. 138 crore with ROE improving to 17.6%. Asset quality improved — 30+ DPD dropped 100 bps QoQ to 4% and Gross Stage-3 fell to 1.2%. The company guided for 25-30% AUM growth over the next 3 years targeting Rs. 30,000 crore AUM by 2030, with 40-45 branch additions annually, spreads above 6%, and credit cost of 40-50 bps. Management cited cautious macro conditions including monsoon stress and LPG disruptions affecting rural/semi-urban markets but remained confident in long-term prospects supported by 307 branches, improving operational efficiency, and strong digital initiatives. The CFO also noted that NIM expanded to ~9.5% partly due to NPA resolution recoveries of previously unaccrued interest.
The company delivered all key commitments — strong AUM growth, improving ROE above 17%, and better asset quality — reinforcing confidence in its Rs. 30,000 crore 2030 target. Margin expansion and stable guidance signal resilience, though cautious on disbursement growth (20%+ for FY27) due to macro headwinds.
