Indian Bank's Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO) has reviewed various lending rates and revised only the Treasury Bills Linked Lending Rate (TBLR). The revision applies to the shortest tenor (≤3 months), reduced from 5.35% to 5.30% — a 5 basis point decrease effective 03.04.2026. All other benchmarks including MCLR, Base Rate, BPLR, Policy Repo Rate, and RBLR remain unchanged. MCLR ranges from 7.90% (overnight) to 8.75% (1 year), with Base Rate at 9.55% and BPLR at 13.80%.
This is a routine operational disclosure with minimal impact. The small rate cut for short-term loans may slightly affect interest income but does not indicate any financial stress or major policy shift for the bank.
