Indian Bank Q1 FY27 concall: profit up 10%, NIM expands, asset quality improves

Indian Bank Q1 FY27 net profit at Rs 3,273 crore, up 10.09% YoY. Operating profit up 16.51% YoY at Rs 5,557 crore. NII grew about 17% YoY, NIM expanded 6 bps. Deposits up 13.40%, advances up 13.89%. CASA up 15.30%. Gross NPA fell to 1.86% from 2.43% YoY, net NPA steady at 0.15%. RoE at 19.48%, cost-to-income at 44.80%. MD guided upper end of NIM range of 3.15-3.25% is achievable. Bank made Rs 1,000 crore floating ECL provision. Plans to raise USD 1.5-2 billion via FCNR(B) and ECB.
