IndoStar Capital Finance reported strong Q4FY26 results with disbursements of ₹1,306 crore, up 17% sequentially and 21% year-on-year. AUM stood at ₹8,056 crore as of March 31, 2026, growing 5% QoQ. Net Interest Income grew 20% YoY to ₹771.7 crore for FY26, while Pre-provision operating profit (PPOP) surged 51% YoY to ₹93 crore in Q4. The company improved its cost of funds by 80 basis points to 10.2%. Asset quality remained stable with Gross Stage 3 at 4.77%. The company made an additional provision of ₹326.13 crore against its Security Receipts portfolio, reducing net carrying value to ₹588.63 crore with coverage now at 63%. A management overlay of ₹49 crore was recognized due to geopolitical uncertainties. PAT for FY26 more than doubled to ₹130.2 crore from ₹52.6 crore, with Capital Adequity at a healthy 36.1%.
Strong operational performance with accelerating disbursements and profitability signals improving fundamentals. The large SR provision and geopolitical overlay reflect conservative risk management. The stock could see positive reaction given doubled PAT and better margins.
