IndusInd Bank has shared its key business numbers as of 31 December 2025 ahead of full quarterly results. Net Advances stood at Rs. 3,18,844 crore, down 13.1% year-on-year and 2.2% quarter-on-quarter, indicating a significant shrinking of the loan book. Total Deposits were Rs. 3,94,022 crore, down 3.8% YoY but up 1.1% QoQ. The CASA ratio fell to 30.3% from 34.9% a year ago and 30.7% in the previous quarter, showing continued weakness in low-cost deposits. Retail and small business deposits were largely flat at Rs. 1,84,550 crore versus Rs. 1,84,144 crore in the prior quarter. The figures are subject to limited review by statutory auditors.
Sharply lower advances and a weaker CASA ratio point to continued stress on growth and margins, which is likely to weigh on the stock in the short term. The mild sequential improvement in deposits is a small positive but not enough to offset the loan contraction.
