Inter State Oil Carrier Ltd posted full-year FY25 revenue from operations of ₹8,814.82 lakhs, up about 4% from ₹8,473.59 lakhs in FY24. Profit after tax jumped roughly 33% to ₹114.42 lakhs from ₹86.24 lakhs, lifting EPS to ₹2.29 vs ₹1.73. Q4 FY25 saw revenue of ₹2,300.74 lakhs (down from ₹2,526.13 lakhs in Q4 FY24), but the company swung back to a ₹14.07 lakh profit versus a ₹21.79 lakh loss a year ago. Operating cash flow strengthened sharply to ₹887.55 lakhs from ₹315.03 lakhs. However, total borrowings rose materially — qualified borrowings climbed from ₹9.81 crore to ₹15.89 crore, and non-current borrowings jumped from ₹478.56 to ₹1,036.70 lakhs.
Profitability improvement and stronger cash generation are positives for shareholders, but the significant debt buildup and higher finance costs raise leverage concerns. Investors should watch whether the company can sustain profit growth while managing its rising debt load.
