Jio Financial Services' wholly owned subsidiary, Jio Leasing Services Limited (JLSL), has invested Rs. 63.94 crore in Reliance International Leasing IFSC Private Limited (RILIPL) by subscribing to 6.39 crore 8.1% Cumulative Optionally Convertible Preference Shares at Rs. 10 each on a rights issue basis. RILIPL is an existing 50:50 joint venture between JLSL and Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited (a Reliance Industries subsidiary). The funds will be used to support RILIPL's business operations. Since the previous disclosure on December 31, 2025, JLSL's total investment in RILIPL has reached Rs. 82.80 crore. The transaction qualifies as a related party transaction but was carried out at arm's length, and no regulatory approvals were required.
This is a routine follow-on capital infusion into an existing joint venture with Reliance Industries, reinforcing Jio Financial's leasing business. No material change in ownership or business direction, and no immediate share price catalyst expected.
