Jio Financial Services reported Q1 FY26 consolidated total income of Rs. 619 crore, up 48% year-on-year, with profit after tax of Rs. 325 crore (up 4% YoY) and pre-provisioning operating profit of Rs. 366 crore (up 8% YoY). Net Income from Business grew nearly 4x YoY to Rs. 219 crore, contributing about 40% of total net income. Jio Credit Limited's AUM surged to Rs. 11,665 crore from Rs. 217 crore a year ago, while JioBlackRock Asset Management crossed Rs. 17,800 crore AUM in just three days of its maiden NFO, drawing over 90 institutional and 67,000 retail investors. JFSL also acquired SBI's 14.96% stake in Jio Payments Bank for ~Rs. 105 crore, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary with 2.58 million customers and Rs. 358 crore in deposits.
Strong revenue and AUM growth across lending, asset management, and payments businesses signals rapid scaling of the financial services platform. The successful JioBlackRock NFO and JPBL becoming wholly-owned strengthen future earnings potential, likely to be viewed positively by the market.
