Jio Financial Services' wholly-owned subsidiary JFPSL has launched a new JioFinance app described as an intelligent digital marketplace for Indian consumers. The app uses Agentic AI and neural networks, powered by 15 AI agents and around 70 decision-making engines, to offer personalised financial product recommendations. It provides access to a wide range of products including home loans, personal loans, credit cards, insurance, UPI, mutual funds (JioBlackRock), fixed deposits, digital gold, and tax filing services. An early access program called 'Finsider' allows users to try the app and earn JioPoints redeemable for rewards. Upcoming features include a Financial Fitness Score, a 'Personal CFO' tool, autonomous transaction execution, and an exclusive membership program. CEO Hitesh Sethia said the platform aims to remove friction in navigating financial services for Indian consumers.
This is a strategic product launch that expands JFSL's digital footprint and could drive user acquisition and cross-selling across its financial services portfolio. For shareholders, it signals aggressive growth ambitions in the consumer fintech space but carries execution risk as the app is still in early access.
