Jumbo Bag Ltd reported Q1 FY26 (June 2025) results with revenue from operations of Rs. 30.64 crore, down about 3% from Rs. 31.64 crore in Q1 FY25. However, profitability improved sharply — profit before tax jumped to Rs. 3.41 crore from Rs. 2.12 crore, and net profit nearly doubled to Rs. 2.26 crore (vs Rs. 1.14 crore), with EPS of Rs. 2.70. The cost of materials consumed fell notably from Rs. 19.68 crore to Rs. 11.76 crore, helping margins expand. The auditor (DPV & Associates) issued an unmodified limited review opinion. Separately, the Board fixed the 35th AGM for 4 September 2025 via video conferencing, approved up to Rs. 11.60 crore investment in a 2 MW solar power project, and allotted 6 lakh fully convertible warrants at Rs. 61 each (aggregating Rs. 3.66 crore) on a preferential basis, mostly to promoter and promoter group entities.
Despite a small dip in revenue, strong margin expansion nearly doubled PAT, which is positive for shareholders. The Rs. 11.6 crore solar capex signals a move into renewable energy, while the promoter-heavy warrant allotment (Rs. 3.66 crore) may lead to equity dilution within 18 months if converted.
