Karur Vysya Bank delivered a strong FY 2025-26 with net profit of ₹2,510 crore, up 29% YoY, driven by robust 16% growth in Net Interest Income to ₹4,939 crore. Q4 NIM expanded to 4.25% (up 26 bps QoQ) aided by cost of funds optimization. Advances grew 17% YoY to ₹98,754 crore while deposits rose 13% to ₹1,15,666 crore, maintaining a healthy CASA ratio of 27%. RAM segments (Retail, Agriculture, MSME) led growth at 18% YoY. Asset quality remained best-in-class with GNPA at 0.75%, NNPA at 0.19%, and PCR at 96.45%. ROE improved to 17.79% (Q4: 20.55%) and capital adequacy stood at 18.76%. The bank also became an IGBC Founding Member and received ESG rating upgrade to 'Strong'.
The bank demonstrates sustained outperformance across profitability, asset quality, and growth metrics. The margin expansion, cost efficiency improvement (cost-to-income down to 37.27%), and strong capital position are positive indicators for the stock.
