Kotak Mahindra Bank is asking shareholders holding physical securities to submit PAN, Aadhaar link, postal address, email, mobile, bank and demat account details to its registrar KFin Technologies, per a February 2026 SEBI circular. Folios missing these will not be eligible to lodge grievances or receive future dividends. Shareholders must also file nomination or opt-out forms. The bank reminds that after the January 2026 share split from Rs 5 to Rs 1 face value, physical holdings sit in a Demat Suspense Escrow Pool and need to be claimed by submitting documents to KFinTech.
No direct price impact. Shareholders with physical holdings should update KYC and claim split shares via KFinTech to keep receiving dividends and grievance support.
