LIC has re-submitted the Scrutinizer's Report for its 4th AGM held on August 26, 2025, after the original filing (dated August 28, 2025) was found to be missing some pages. All 13 resolutions listed in the AGM notice were approved with overwhelming majority. Key items passed include adoption of standalone and consolidated financial statements for FY25, a final dividend of Rs. 12 per equity share, appointment of statutory and secretarial auditors, appointment of new directors (Dr. Parshant Kumar Goyal as Government Nominee Director, Shri Dinesh Pant and Shri Ratnakar Patnaik as Managing Directors, and Shri R Doraiswamy as CEO & Managing Director), and approval of material related party transactions with IDBI Bank, LIC Housing Finance, and LIC Mutual Fund. On the record date of August 19, 2025, there were about 2.28 crore shareholders; the Government of India (promoter) holds nearly 6.10 billion shares and voted 100% in favor of all resolutions. Among public shareholders, institutional and non-institutional voters also backed the resolutions by margins of 99.85% and 99.69% respectively.
This is a procedural re-filing with no negative surprise — the resolutions, including the Rs. 12 dividend and key director appointments, were all approved comfortably. The stock is unlikely to react materially to this announcement since the AGM outcomes were already known.
