Consolidated PAT stood at Rs. 57,453.15 crore, growing 18.9% year-on-year. Gross premium income increased significantly to Rs. 5.38 lakh crore from Rs. 4.91 lakh crore, while EPS rose from Rs. 76.13 to Rs. 90.78 (standalone). The solvency ratio strengthened to 2.35 from 2.11, well above regulatory requirements. NPA ratios improved with gross NPAs declining from 1.46% to 1.21%. The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 10 per share (Rs. 20 pre-bonus) and announced a 1:1 bonus issue with record date May 29, 2026. Auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated financials. Note that there are emphasis of matter items related to family pension contributions (Rs. 9,280 crore), PAR segment expense replenishment (Rs. 7,230 crore), and additional pension liability (Rs. 5,477 crore), but these did not modify the audit opinion.
Strong profitability growth and a generous 1:1 bonus issue signal management confidence in LIC's financial health. The clean audit opinion reinforces reliability of financials. Shareholders benefit from dividend income and substantially increased share count post-bonus.
