Magellanic Cloud's wholly owned subsidiary, Provigil Surveillance Limited, has received a Letter of Intent from RailTel Corporation of India Limited to install a CCTV surveillance system at an engineering college campus. The project is valued at ₹1.55 crore (inclusive of taxes) and involves supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of cameras, NVRs, switches, displays, racks, UPS, hard disks and related equipment. The order carries a 3-year warranty support clause and requires a performance bank guarantee of ₹7.75 lakh (5% of contract value). Execution is expected to be completed within 1 month from commencement or issuance of the formal ERP purchase order. The company clarified there is no related-party interest in RailTel and the order is from a domestic entity.
A relatively small but positive order win from a government PSU, which strengthens the subsidiary's footprint in public sector surveillance projects. Marginal impact on overall order book; unlikely to materially move the stock price but adds to visible business momentum in the security solutions vertical.
