ICRA has reaffirmed the credit ratings assigned to Mahindra Logistics Limited (MLL) for its fund-based and non-fund-based facilities at [ICRA]AA (Stable) / [ICRA]A1+ on a total rated amount of Rs. 350 crore, and the Commercial Paper rating at [ICRA]A1+ on Rs. 100 crore. The reaffirmation is supported by MLL's strong financial profile, its close business linkages with parent Mahindra & Mahindra (rated AAA/Stable), and the high likelihood of financial support from M&M if needed. MLL's consolidated revenue grew 10.9% year-on-year to Rs. 6,104.8 crore in FY2025, with operating margins improving to 4.7% from 4.2%. The company recently concluded a rights issue of Rs. 749.3 crore, of which Rs. 556.3 crore is earmarked for prepaying existing debt, which will significantly strengthen the balance sheet and liquidity position.
The rating reaffirmation with a Stable outlook signals continued financial strength and credibility for shareholders, with no negative triggers identified. The planned debt prepayment from the rights issue proceeds should reduce interest costs and improve leverage ratios, potentially supporting earnings over the medium term.
