MAS Financial Services Limited has raised ₹360 crore by issuing Senior Secured, Listed Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) to FMO, the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank. The NCDs have a 5-year tenure and are listed on BSE. The funds will be used to provide financing to women-owned or women-led SMEs, youth-owned or youth-led SMEs, and Rural SMEs. This marks a renewed partnership between MAS and FMO, which previously held an equity stake in MAS from 2008 to 2017. The company, with over 15,000 crore in consolidated AUM and 283 branches, aims for sustainable growth of 20-25% while diversifying its investor base.
This capital raise strengthens MAS Financial's liability mix and diversifies its investor base for capital market borrowings. The partnership with FMO, a reputable international development bank, reflects confidence in the company's mission of financial inclusion and MSME lending.
