MAS Financial Services filed its Q1 FY26 investor presentation showing standalone AUM of ₹1,25,046 Mn, up 20.43% year-on-year. Profit after tax grew 19.13% to ₹839 Mn and net interest income jumped 35.72% to ₹2,376 Mn. The company maintains healthy capital adequacy at 25.22% against the 15% regulatory requirement, with ROA at 2.84%. Salaried Personal Loans were the standout segment, surging 91.62% YoY, while Two-Wheeler Loans grew 30.37% YoY. However, operating expenses rose 45.85% YoY, pushing the operating expense ratio up 48 basis points to 2.69%, and Gross Stage 3 assets edged up to 2.49% from 2.29% a year ago, signalling some asset quality slippage.
Strong AUM and NII growth with maintained profitability are positives, but rising operating costs and a slight uptick in Stage 3 assets warrant monitoring. Management has reaffirmed medium-term targets of 20–25% AUM growth, ROA of 2.75–3.00%, and ROE of 16–18%, which should support investor confidence.
