Oxygenta Pharmaceutical's board approved the appointment of Ms. Kumkum Bajaj as the new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer effective August 14, 2025, replacing Ms. Dolly Mandhan who resigned citing personal obligations and pre-occupation. The board also appointed new internal auditors (M/s. Suryachandra & Associates), secretarial auditors (M/s. Aakanksha Dubey & Co.), and cost auditors (PCR & Associates) for FY 2025-26, and took note of the FY24-25 cost and secretarial audit reports. The Q1 FY26 financial results showed total revenue of Rs 1,513.47 lakhs, up about 20% from Rs 1,262.08 lakhs a year earlier. However, the net loss widened sharply to Rs 610.61 lakhs from Rs 136.33 lakhs in Q1 FY25, with the loss before tax nearly tripling to Rs 814.80 lakhs. Loss per share deepened to Rs 1.65 versus Rs 0.39 in the comparable quarter.
The Company Secretary change is largely a routine governance shuffle and should not move the stock materially. The sharply widening quarterly losses, despite decent revenue growth, point to rising costs and weak operating efficiency — this is a red flag shareholders should watch closely.
