Paisabazaar Marketing and Consulting Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of PB Fintech Limited, received an order from CIT(A), Delhi-23 dated April 30, 2026, confirming tax disallowances of ₹85.60 Crores for FY 2022-23 and ₹60.31 Crores for FY 2021-22. The total disallowance amounts to ₹145.91 Crores. The Assessing Officer had initially made these disallowances under Section 37 and Section 147 of the Income Tax Act. The CIT(A) also directed the AO to verify and allow set-off of brought forward losses while recomputing total income. The company states the orders are appealable and will file an appeal in due course.
No immediate financial impact since the order is appealable and the company intends to challenge it. However, if the appeal fails in higher forums, it could impact subsidiary Paisabazaar's financials by up to ₹145.91 Crores.
