Piramal Finance reported strong FY26 results, with total AUM crossing ₹1,01,230 Cr (up 25% YoY) led by Growth AUM at 97% of the mix. Consolidated PAT surged 210% YoY to ₹1,506 Cr in FY26 and 390% YoY to ₹502 Cr in Q4 FY26. Growth business RoAUM improved to 2.1% (up 36bps YoY) and Consol NIM rose 14bps YoY to 6.5%. Asset quality strengthened with GNPA falling to 2.3% (down 32bps QoQ) and credit cost stable at 1.5%. The company received multiple rating upgrades (AA+ domestic, S&P to BB) and secured US$350mn DFI funding. Management met all FY26 targets and guided for FY27: ~25% AUM growth, ~50% PAT growth, and exit RoAUM of ~2.5%, reaffirming Mar-28 targets of ₹1.5L Cr AUM and RoAUM >3%.
Strong execution on growth, profitability, and asset quality, combined with rating upgrades and reaffirmed multi-year targets, reinforces confidence in the company's transformation story. The FY27 guidance of 50% PAT growth and improving RoAUM is a positive signal for shareholders, though continued leverage uptick (AUM/equity moving toward 4.5-5x) warrants monitoring.
