Poonawalla Fincorp reported strong Q4FY26 results with AUM at ₹60,348 crore (up 78.5% YoY) and PAT of ₹255 crore (up 69.4% YoY, 69.6% QoQ). Pre-provision operating profit rose 109% YoY to ₹695 crore, with RoA improving 103 bps YoY to 1.81%. Asset quality improved with GNPA down 7 bps QoQ to 1.44%. The company raised ₹2,500 crore via QIP in April 2026, boosting proforma CAR to 20.74% and reducing proforma leverage to 3.78x. New products (Gold Loan, Education, CV, Consumer Durables, PL Prime) contributed 24% of total disbursements in Q4, up from 20% in Q3. The company operates 400 gold loan branches and targets ~35-40% AUM CAGR over the next couple of years, aspiring to 5-6x AUM growth over 5 years. Cost-to-income ratio improved to 45.6% with opex efficiency gains.
Strong all-round execution with accelerating profitability, improving asset quality, and reinforced capital base positions the company well for its targeted high-growth trajectory. The ₹2,500 crore capital raise removes near-term growth constraints.
