PFC's wholly owned subsidiary PFC Consulting Limited has incorporated a new Special Purpose Vehicle called Kushtagi Transmission Limited. The SPV is for a 765kV transmission system between Kushtagi and Koppal district in Karnataka. PFCCL has been nominated as Bid Process Coordinator by the Ministry of Power. The SPV will handle preparatory work like survey, land acquisition, and forest clearance, and will later be transferred to the successful bidder selected through tariff based competitive bidding.
