PNB posted Q1 FY27 net profit of Rs 5,253 cr with global business at Rs 29.98 lakh cr (up 10.2% YoY). Advances grew 12.7% YoY to Rs 12.73 lakh cr; deposits up 8.5% to Rs 17.25 lakh cr. Domestic NIM improved to 2.64% from 2.61%, guided for further Q-o-Q improvement. Gross NPA fell to 2.78% from 3.78%, net NPA at 0.28%. RoA at 1.04%, RoE at 17.33%, cost-to-income improved to 50.31%. Plans 250 new branches, Rs 3,400 cr digital spend, and USD 2.5 bn FCNR mobilisation (USD 425 mn done). ECL one-time impact estimated at Rs 9,500-10,000 cr.
