Punjab National Bank has informed the stock exchanges that its Marginal Cost of Funds Based Lending Rates (MCLR) across all tenors remain unchanged with effect from 01 April 2026. The overnight MCLR stays at 7.95%, one-month at 8.20%, three-month and six-month at 8.40%, and one-year at 8.60%, with the three-year tenor at 9.05%. The Repo Linked Lending Rate (RLLR) at 8.10% (including a BSP of 0.10%) and the Base Rate at 9.50% also remain unchanged. This is a routine quarterly review, and the bank has chosen to hold all benchmark lending rates steady.
Neutral for shareholders — keeping lending rates unchanged means no immediate impact on net interest margins or borrower behaviour. This is a routine rate review and is unlikely to move the stock on its own.
