Punjab National Bank has announced a change in the position of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer (SEBI), effective April 30, 2025. Smt. Ekta Pasricha, who was serving as General Manager and Company Secretary, has been reassigned as General Manager, Zonal Office Kolkata, while continuing as Board Secretary. In her place, Sh. Bikramjit Shorn, previously General Manager, Board & Co-ordination Division at Head Office, will take over as General Manager, Company Secretary and Board Secretary. The change was approved at a board meeting held on April 30, 2025, which ran from 11:30 a.m. to 7:40 p.m. Both officers are internal candidates with over 11 and 15 years of experience at the bank, respectively.
This is a routine internal administrative reshuffle of the company secretary role with no material impact on shareholders or business. Continuity in compliance leadership is maintained as the new appointee is a long-serving internal executive.
