Punjab & Sind Bank reported strong Q4 and FY 2025-26 results with total business growing 14.94% to ₹2,63,652 crore. Advances grew 18.29% YoY to ₹1,17,823 crore, outpacing deposit growth of 12.37%. Net profit jumped 30.12% to ₹1,322 crore for the full year, driven by 22% growth in core fee income to ₹759 crore. Asset quality improved significantly with Gross NPA falling from 3.38% to 2.40% and Net NPA at 0.79%. The bank provided FY27 guidance targeting 13-14% deposit growth, 16-18% advances growth, and further NPA reduction to under 2%. Capital adequacy remains healthy at 17.42% with CET-I at 15.92%.
The bank demonstrated strong operational performance with accelerating loan growth and improving asset quality, which should be positive for the stock. The 30% jump in net profit and better-than-guidance metrics for FY26 indicate improving profitability. Management's confident FY27 targets suggest continued momentum.
