PVV Infra Ltd reported FY25 revenue from operations of ₹3,984.73 lakhs, a sharp decline of about 55% from ₹8,792.06 lakhs in FY24. Despite the revenue drop, net profit jumped 77% to ₹548.36 lakhs (FY24: ₹308.98 lakhs), with EPS at ₹0.95 (FY24: ₹1.34, adjusted for bonus issue). Q4 FY25 revenue was ₹667.73 lakhs with net profit of ₹52.96 lakhs, down from ₹183 lakhs in Q4 FY24. The company executed a 1:1 bonus issue on August 21, 2024, nearly doubling share capital to ₹5,755.42 lakhs. It also acquired 51% stakes in four subsidiaries (PVV Solar Power, PVV EVtech, PVV Steel Traders, and PVV Housing) during the year to diversify into solar, EV charging, steel trading, and construction. Auditors SMV & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
Profitability improved sharply despite lower topline, indicating better cost management or a shift to higher-margin work, though the steep revenue contraction and deeply negative operating cash flow of ~₹2,508 lakhs (standalone) raise concerns about business growth and cash generation. Shareholders should note the bonus issue dilution impact and watch how new subsidiaries contribute going forward.
