Repco Home Finance reported its highest-ever Q1 disbursements of Rs. 829 Crores (up from Rs. 680 Crores YoY) and sanctions of Rs. 907 Crores, with AUM growing to Rs. 14,690 Crores. Net profit rose sharply YoY (from Rs. 105 Crores to Rs. 180 Crores as cited by MD), with ROA at 2.9% and ROE at 14%. Asset quality improved with GNPA at 3.3% (down from 4.3%) and stage 2 assets reducing to 9.7% from 11.7% YoY. The board declared a 25% interim dividend celebrating the company's 25th anniversary. The company successfully issued Rs. 150 Crores in commercial paper and plans to raise Rs. 500 Crores via NCDs to diversify borrowings. Management guided for Rs. 4,000 Crore disbursements, Rs. 16,200 Crore AUM, GNPA of 2.5%, and stage 2 between 7-8% by FY26 end.
Strong Q1 performance with record disbursements, improving asset quality, and a generous 25% dividend announcement are positive for shareholders. FY26 growth targets signal continued momentum. However, stage 2 assets remain elevated at 9.7% versus affordable HFC peers (1.3-4.7%), and management declined to provide specific data on OTS amounts YTD and bounce rate metrics when asked by analysts.
