Repco Home Finance has allotted 12,500 secured, rated, listed, senior, redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures of face value Rs. 1 lakh each, raising Rs. 125 crore in total. The NCDs carry a fixed coupon of 8.40% per annum, payable monthly, and have a 3-year tenure maturing on 13 March 2029. The issue was done through private placement using BSE's Electronic Book Provider (EBP) platform and will be listed on BSE. Redemption is structured in three tranches — 34% in March 2027, 33% in March 2028, and 33% at final maturity in March 2029, with a security cover of 1.10 times maintained over underlying loan receivables.
This Rs. 125 crore NCD raise at 8.40% strengthens Repco Home Finance's funding base for lending, though the cost is moderate and typical for housing finance companies. Shareholders should note incremental interest outflows, but the structured redemption and secured nature keep risk contained.
