Scan Projects Ltd reported audited results for FY25 showing revenue from operations of Rs 1,193.98 lakhs vs Rs 798.81 lakhs in FY24, a growth of about 49%. Profit before tax rose sharply to Rs 77.35 lakhs (FY24: Rs 8.89 lakhs) and net profit jumped to Rs 57.28 lakhs from Rs 5.56 lakhs, translating to EPS of Rs 1.99 vs Rs 0.19. The growth was driven by both segments — Erection, Commissioning & Supervision revenue rose ~72% to Rs 415.58 lakhs and Trading Activities revenue grew ~40% to Rs 778.40 lakhs. The company remains virtually debt-free with zero borrowings, cash and bank balances more than doubled to Rs 153.46 lakhs, and operating cash flow was a healthy Rs 302.70 lakhs. FY24 had an exceptional loss of Rs 87.14 lakhs relating to the Nepal branch discontinuance which is absent in FY25. The board also approved reconstitution of the Audit and Nomination & Remuneration Committees due to a new Independent Director and a change in registered office within Yamuna Nagar. Statutory auditor M/s Subhash Sajal & Associates issued an unmodified opinion.
Strong top-line growth, sharp jump in profits, zero debt, and improving cash position are positive signals for shareholders. However, Q4 FY25 PAT of Rs 38.16 lakhs was lower than Q4 FY24's Rs 74.57 lakhs (which had benefitted from reversal effects), so the full-year rebound should be read alongside Q4 moderation.
