Shoppers Stop Limited reported audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 2026. Consolidated revenue grew to Rs 5,043.32 Crores (vs Rs 4,627.64 Crores in FY25), but the company swung to a net loss of Rs 36.09 Crores (vs profit of Rs 10.89 Crores in FY25). Standalone loss was Rs 46.24 Crores. The Board approved an additional investment of up to Rs 40 Crores in Global SS Beauty Brands Limited (GSSBBL), its material wholly-owned subsidiary, via subscription to 4,000 preference shares. GSSBBL has a turnover of Rs 220.02 Crores and will use funds for expansion and working capital. Other approvals included re-appointment of Arun Sirdeshmukh as Independent Director and PwC as Internal Auditors.
The shift from profit to loss in FY26 may weigh on investor sentiment despite revenue growth. The Rs 40 Crore investment in GSSBBL signals continued focus on the beauty retail vertical as a growth driver.
