Shriram Pistons & Rings reported strong FY25 audited results on May 7, 2025. Standalone revenue grew to Rs 3,279 crore from Rs 3,035 crore, with profit after tax rising to Rs 498 crore (Rs 447 crore in FY24) and EPS at Rs 113.01. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 5 per share, taking total FY25 dividend to Rs 10 per share (Rs 5 interim already paid). One independent director (Mr. Shinichi Unno) resigned and was replaced by Mr. Akihiro Ozaki. Two directors (Mr. Klaus Semke and Ms. Meenakshi Dass) will retire by rotation and seek re-appointment at the August 1, 2025 AGM. New secretarial and cost auditors were also appointed. Additionally, the company acquired 100% of Karna Intertech Private Limited for Rs 5 crore.
Positive for shareholders — strong double-digit growth in profits, healthy dividend payout, and expansion via acquisitions. The director changes are routine and governance remains stable.
