Snowman Logistics, a cold chain logistics company and subsidiary of Gateway Distriparks, shared its Q1 FY26 results via an investor presentation. Total income grew 15.9% year-on-year to Rs. 163.4 crore, driven by a strong 46.2% jump in the trading and distribution segment to Rs. 67 crore and 6.2% growth in warehousing services to Rs. 63 crore. The transportation segment, however, declined 6.6% YoY to Rs. 33 crore due to a shift in customer mix. EBITDA rose 3.6% to Rs. 25.1 crore but margins contracted to 15.3% from 17.2% a year ago, while profit after tax grew 42.1% to Rs. 2.5 crore. The company added two new facilities in Kolkata and Krishnapatnam, taking total capacity to 1,50,754 pallets across 43 warehouses in 20 cities, and onboarded new 5PL clients Unilever and Kopi Kenangan.
Strong top-line growth and a 42% jump in profit signal operational momentum, but the sharp drop in EBITDA margin (from 17.2% to 15.3%) and weak transportation performance are points of concern. Shareholders should watch for margin recovery and a rebound in the transportation segment in upcoming quarters.
