Snowman Logistics has started operations at two new owned temperature-controlled warehouses in Kolkata and Krishnapatnam, adding 9,557 pallets of fresh storage capacity. The Kolkata facility adds 5,630 pallets and Krishnapatnam adds 3,927 pallets, taking the company's total capacity to 1,50,754 pallets across 43 warehouses in 20 cities. The company also operates 296 owned and over 325 leased refrigerated vehicles nationwide. The new facilities use automation and will serve industries such as seafood, dairy, ice cream, pharmaceuticals, QSR, and bakery. The Chairman highlighted confidence in exponential growth in India's cold chain demand and continued network expansion.
Capacity expansion of about 6.8% strengthens Snowman's pan-India cold chain leadership and supports future revenue growth, though near-term stock reaction will depend on utilisation ramp-up at the new facilities.
