SBI updates SBIFM IPO: stake sale cut from 6.30% to 4.89%

SBI subsidiary SBIFM filed an addendum to its Red Herring Prospectus. A Pre-IPO transaction saw SBI sell 1.42 percent stake (2.88 crore shares) to 30 investors at Rs 574 per share for Rs 1,655 crore. The IPO is now an Offer for Sale of up to 17.10 crore shares (8.39% of SBIFM capital). SBI's portion was reduced from 6.30% to 4.89% (about 9.95 crore shares), with Amundi India Holding selling up to 3.51%. Price band is Rs 545 to Rs 574 per share, with Rs 54 employee discount. Allotment expected around July 18, 2026.
