SBI has disclosed publication of its Q4 FY26 and full year financial results in newspapers (Economic Times, Navbharat Times, Maharashtra Times) on May 9, 2026. The bank reported standalone total income of Rs 1,40,411.77 crore for Q4 (vs Rs 1,43,876.06 crore in Q4 FY25) and full-year income of Rs 5,51,647.45 crore (vs Rs 5,24,172.41 crore in FY25), marking approximately 5% annual growth. Standalone net profit after tax stood at Rs 19,683.75 crore for Q4 and Rs 80,032.01 crore for the full year, compared to Rs 18,642.59 crore and Rs 70,900.63 crore respectively in the previous year, reflecting strong year-on-year profit growth of about 13%. EPS for FY26 was Rs 87.59 versus Rs 79.44 in FY25. Net worth improved to Rs 4,72,894.50 crore from Rs 3,89,071.49 crore.
The results demonstrate consistent profitability growth with a 13% increase in annual net profit and improved EPS. The marginally lower Q4 income sequentially may be a seasonal pattern, but strong full-year performance is positive for shareholders and indicates healthy asset quality and operational efficiency.
