SBI reported record net profit of Rs 80,032 crore for FY26, up 12.88% YoY, driven by strong operating profit growth of 11.25%. Total business crossed Rs 109 trillion with balance sheet at Rs 76 trillion. Domestic NIM came in at 3.03% for FY26, meeting guidance. Asset quality remained robust with gross NPAs at 1.49% and net NPAs at 0.39%. Capital adequacy improved to 15.4% (up 115 bps). CASA ratio improved to 39.46%. Q4 saw NIM compression to 2.93% due to repo rate cut impact on EBLR book and increased floating rate exposure. Management maintained FY27 guidance of domestic NIM above 3%, credit growth of 13-15%, and credit cost of 50 bps. YONO platform crossed 10 crore users. For ECL transition from April 2027, models are ready but no specific provision number was shared. Middle East exposure is primarily wholesale with no asset quality concerns. Gold loan book reached Rs 1 lakh crore with 100% growth.
