Tata Motors (standalone commercial vehicles business) delivered record Q4 FY26 with revenue of ₹24,452 Cr (+22% YoY) and full-year revenue of ₹77,399 Cr (+11% YoY). EBITDA grew 22% to ₹10,200 Cr with margins expanding 120 bps to 13.2%. PBT (bei) was ₹8,682 Cr (+46%). However, PAT declined 23% to ₹3,362 Cr due to ₹3,700 Cr in exceptional items including ₹2,355 Cr impairment provision for TMF Holdings investments and ₹962 Cr demerger stamp duty costs. Free cash flow was robust at ₹9,186 Cr (+₹2,179 Cr). Net cash position was ₹13.7K Cr at year-end. Auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion with an emphasis of matter on the demerger accounting treatment. Results include restated prior period figures following the commercial vehicles demerger from Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.
Strong operational performance with margin expansion and cash generation. PAT decline due to exceptional demerger costs is non-cash and non-recurring. The company remains Net Cash positive and is well-positioned to pursue the planned acquisition of Iveco expected in Q2 FY27.
