Team India Guaranty Limited (formerly Times Guaranty Limited), an NBFC, reported its Q3 FY26 results (quarter ended December 31, 2025). Total income for Q3 rose to Rs. 136.33 lakhs from Rs. 85.07 lakhs in Q3 FY25, a jump of about 60% year-on-year. For the nine months ended December 2025, total income grew to Rs. 399.57 lakhs from Rs. 255.54 lakhs (~56% growth), driven mainly by higher interest income (Rs. 315.26 lakhs vs Rs. 248.30 lakhs) and a sharp rise in net gains on fair value changes (Rs. 54.34 lakhs vs Rs. 6.99 lakhs). However, net profit fell sharply to Rs. 17.45 lakhs in Q3 from Rs. 57.60 lakhs a year ago, and 9-month PAT dipped to Rs. 140.24 lakhs from Rs. 162.80 lakhs, as total expenses ballooned to Rs. 197.28 lakhs from Rs. 60.11 lakhs, largely due to a spike in employee benefit expenses. EPS for 9M stood at Rs. 1.56 (vs Rs. 1.81). Net worth is Rs. 4,917 lakhs with negligible debt. The auditor (V.B. Goel & Co) issued a clean limited review report.
Strong top-line growth signals improving business activity, but the sharp rise in expenses has compressed profitability, which is a concern for shareholders. Note that the auditor reference to a 'predecessor auditor' suggests a recent change of statutory auditor, which investors should watch for any governance implications.
