The South Indian Bank has filed copies of its newspaper advertisements publishing the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, as required under SEBI (LODR) Regulations 2015. The ads appeared in Business Line (all-India editions) and Deepika (Thrissur & Kochi editions) on July 18, 2025. Standalone net profit after tax rose about 9.5% year-on-year to Rs 321.95 crore from Rs 294.13 crore, while total income from operations grew to Rs 2,984.33 crore from Rs 2,736.13 crore. EPS improved to Rs 1.23 from Rs 1.12. The bank also significantly reduced its outstanding long-term debt to Rs 1,728.09 crore from Rs 2,957.22 crore a year ago, bringing the debt-to-equity ratio down to 0.09 from 0.24. Consolidated figures were broadly in line with the standalone results.
This is a routine regulatory disclosure rather than fresh news, as the underlying Q1 results were already filed with the exchanges earlier. The numbers do confirm steady single-digit profit growth, healthy asset quality indicators (debt reduction), and modestly improving shareholder returns, which are mildly positive signals for existing investors.
