UCO Bank has delivered a strong performance for FY 2025-26 with net profit growing 13.21% to Rs. 2,768 crore, while operating profit rose 6.49% to Rs. 6,429 crore. Total business crossed Rs. 5.9 lakh crore, growing 14.95% YoY to Rs. 5,90,314 crore. Deposits grew 11.59% to Rs. 3,27,563 crore and advances expanded 19.44% to Rs. 2,62,752 crore. Asset quality improved significantly with Gross NPA declining to 2.17% (multi-year low) from 2.69% and Net NPA falling to 0.27% from 0.50%. The bank added 110 new branches taking its total network to 3,412 branches. Capital adequacy remains robust at 18.61% under Basel III. The Board has recommended a dividend of 4.40% (Rs. 0.44 per share), higher than 3.90% in the previous year.
Strong profitability growth with improving asset quality and higher dividend signals healthy fundamentals. The consistent 13%+ net profit growth and declining NPA ratios are positive indicators for shareholders and could support stock price appreciation.
