UCO Bank reported strong Q4 FY26 results with net profit rising 22.66% YoY to Rs. 801 crore, driven by 19.44% growth in gross advances to Rs. 2,62,752 crore and a sharp improvement in asset quality. Gross NPA fell to 2.17% and net NPA to 0.27%, while the CASA ratio improved by 74 basis points to 38.65%. For the full year, net profit grew 13.21% to Rs. 2,768 crore, operating profit rose 6.49% to Rs. 6,429 crore, and net interest income increased 5.89% to Rs. 10,197 crore. The bank also declared a dividend of 44 paise per share (4.40%) and maintained a healthy CRAR of 18.61% with strong Tier I capital of 16.59%.
Strong loan growth, improving asset quality, and expanding CASA base are positive for shareholders, though net interest margin remains modest at 3%. The proposed dividend and double-digit profit growth signal a financially healthier bank heading into FY27.
