On the reaction day the stock moved 4.2 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 4.6 pts less than its Industrial Minerals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 company revenue fell 5.8% year on year to Rs 197.60 crore and profit fell 8.3% to Rs 14.03 crore. Group revenue fell 3.9% to Rs 230.78 crore, but profit rose 5.5% to Rs 17.35 crore. The board approved buying 14 Malaysia subsidiary shares for 14 Malaysian ringgit, taking ownership to 100%.
Weaker sales and company profit may hurt sentiment, but group profit growth and stronger operating cash flow support the stock. The buyout gives full control.
