The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on June 30, 2025 dismissed a Section 7 Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code petition seeking initiation of Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) against Ansal Housing Limited. The case, filed by Rajiv Kumar Mahajan and others, was a restoration attempt of an earlier petition from 2019 (C.P. (I.B)- 1369/2019). This is a continuation of the company's earlier disclosure dated May 5, 2025 regarding the status of this case. The dismissal brings relief to the company after months of litigation uncertainty.
Positive for shareholders — the company has successfully defended against insolvency proceedings, removing a major overhang and protecting the company from potential liquidation or restructuring under IBC.
