7NR Retail Ltd has cancelled its proposed Rights Issue after a Board meeting on 22nd July 2025. The Rights Issue was originally approved on 29th March 2025 with a target to raise Rs. 2,800.68 Lakhs (~Rs. 28 crore) by issuing equity shares to existing shareholders. The cancellation was driven by the company's failure to receive the minimum subscription required under SEBI Regulation 86(2) of the ICDR Regulations, 2018. As a result, the Rights Issue stands fully cancelled and the company will not be raising the planned capital through this route.
Existing shareholders will not get the opportunity to subscribe to additional shares at the rights price, and the company has lost a planned Rs. 28 crore fundraising avenue, which may slow its growth or expansion plans. The failed subscription also signals weak investor appetite for the stock at the offered terms, which is mildly negative for near-term sentiment.
