On the reaction day the stock moved 0.5 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.6 pts less than its Industrial Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
NCLT Mumbai allowed a joint petition seeking approval to merge SGS Infosystems and SGS Tekniks Manufacturing into Syrma SGS Technology. Both are wholly owned within the group, and Syrma will assume their liabilities; no new shares or cash payment are proposed. The stated start date is 1 April 2023. Reported post-merger net worth was INR 1,558.5 crore. Final completion and other formalities remain.
Positive in principle: the merger may reduce costs, but Syrma assumes the units' liabilities and further approvals and filings are needed.
