A.K. Capital Services reported Q1 FY26 standalone total revenue from operations of ₹3,472.28 lakhs, up ~22.8% year-on-year from ₹2,826.84 lakhs, driven by higher sale of services and a sharp swing in net gain on fair value changes (₹816.27 lakhs vs ₹75 lakhs). Standalone profit after tax rose modestly to ₹783.32 lakhs (from ₹736.52 lakhs, ~6.4% growth) with EPS at ₹11.87. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew to ₹13,444.74 lakhs (~16.9% YoY) but PAT was largely flat at ₹2,390.56 lakhs, with EPS at ₹35.00. Consolidated operating margin compressed to 23.72% from 26.52% and net profit margin slipped to 17.77% from 19.81%, reflecting higher finance costs and employee expenses. Statutory auditors issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion on both results.
Mixed quarter for shareholders — topline grew strongly on standalone basis but profitability gains were modest and margins shrank on the consolidated side, which is more representative of the group. Board did not declare any interim dividend and instead sought shareholder approval to raise borrowing limits up to ₹3,000 crore, signalling capacity for future business expansion.
